I've prepared a cartoon to make it easy to understand the Storage Area Network Concept. How do they work? Why they are used?...

    Also it is not true that people do not use SAN at home, one of my neighbor is using it, at present he has around 6TB and can add more.. also he is not using it for work ...

  2. Presently I work for Dell and I really appreciate the way you have presented the concept of storage area network (SAN) in a very interesting way. To add more to it, SAN is a dedicated network that provides access to consolidated, block level data storage.
